At OSCA Technologies, we’re not just building composting machines — we’re reshaping the way communities handle food and organic waste. We make it possible for anyone to process organic waste on-site without sending it to landfill. Proudly designed and manufactured in Australia, our products are built to last, made with local materials, and engineered specifically for harsh Aussie conditions.
Since 2010 we’ve been designing and perfecting systems that are simple to use, eco-friendly, and cost-effective — making it easy for organisations to take real climate action on the ground. From universities and schools to government sites and island resorts, OSCA products have already proven themselves in some of Australia’s most demanding environments.

Who Buys OSCAs?

University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC)
The University of the Sunshine Coast used OSCA to compost over 6.5 tonnes of food waste on-site — boosting sustainability and student engagement.

Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort
Lady Elliot Island Eco resort composts 250kg of organic waste a day with OSCA – protecting the reef and powering their gardens with zero electricity.

Seed the Ground
Seed the Ground has M2 units at Somerset College and their Burleigh Heads composting hub on the Gold Coast. These sites currently process over 30,000L of organics each year.
HOW Does the OSCA Work?
Feed it. Turn it. Use it.
OSCA in-vessel composters are a fully enclosed, internal shaft horizontal composter that allow continuous input of organic waste at one end and output of compost at the other — all with a simple daily crank.
OSCA 75 units are automated turn machines and OSCA M2 units are manually turned.
Both versions have robust, smooth operating gearboxes with rugged design and construction suited to Australian conditions

Why compost in the first place? There are so many reasons! Compost is the natural product of organic matter breaking down into nutrient rich material, full of the microbes necessary for healthy soil and thriving plants. OSCA Composters take advantage of the thermophilic process of hot composting, which both accelerates the process and pasteurises the material, killing off weeds and anaerobic (stinky) microbes. OSCAs are a true win-win for turning waste organics into incredibly beneficial compost!
We believe that food waste doesn’t belong in landfill — and that composting should be as easy as turning a handle.
What People Think About Us
Sustainability starts with action. Here’s how our clients are leading the way with OSCA.
Our OSCA composter has transformed our school’s waste management—easy to use, educational, and sustainable. Students love learning hands-on about recycling and composting. Highly recommended for schools!
Seed The Ground took delivery of their first OSCA in 2024 and from the get go it was a game changer, no back breaking turning of compost, no odour and great pasteurising temperatures regardless of the weather. The OSCA M2 is a great success for community food waste recycling and we cannot recommend it enough
